A Komposite HOPE

Food/Nutrition

Nutrition shouldn’t be a privilege—but for many, it is. Across the country, low-income communities and communities of color face limited access to healthy, affordable food. From food deserts to underfunded school meal programs, systemic barriers make it harder for families to meet basic nutritional needs. These inequities contribute to higher rates of obesity, diabetes, and other chronic health conditions. we’re working to close the nutrition gap through hands-on solutions like community gardens that grow fresh produce locally and regular food bank giveaways that ensure families don’t have to choose between nutrition and necessity. By expanding access to healthy foods and nutrition education, we’re planting the seeds of a healthier, more equitable future—one meal at a time.
